Bergamo Enterprise City – Festival of Industrial Territories
Applications are now open to participate in the Festival Città Impresa Academy, open to students from bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs from all Italian universities, scheduled to take place in Bergamo from Nov. 8-10, 2024. Festival Città Impresa is promoted by ItalyPost, L’Economia del Corriere della Sera, Bergamo City Council, Bergamo Chamber of Commerce,Confindustria Bergamo and Kilometro Rosso.
The Festival City Enterprise Academy aims to provide a unique opportunity for meeting, exchange and training through active participation in the event that guarantees selected students:
- Preferential access to all events (conferences, workshops, seminars) on the calendar
- moments of meeting and direct dialogue between students and entrepreneurs from top Italian companies
- guided tours ofselectedcompanies , leading the visits will be the entrepreneurs themselves or qualified technical figures who can tell in detail about the production processes (for Option 1 students).
Interested students may choose to apply for two different options of their choice:
- Option 1 | guided tours in companies + participation in the Enterprise City Festival: the Academy will take place from Thursday, Nov. 7 to Sunday, Nov. 10, for a total of 4 days/3 nights
- Option 2 | participation in the Enterprise City Festival: the Academy will take place from Friday, November 8 to Sunday, November 10, for a total of 3 days/2 nights

Scholarships to attend the Festival City Enterprise Academy
Also this year, Festival Città Impresa looks with special attention to the involvement of young people from Italian universities, to whom it intends to offer a unique opportunity for meeting, exchange and training. To this end, the organization is offering a selected number of university students the opportunity to apply for the Città Impresa Academy and access the living grants.

The program for the event is online and available at this link. In summary, below are the highlights of the event. THE THEME OF THE 2024 EDITION. Bergamo Città Impresa, a festival of industrial territories, during the 2024 edition will invite reflection on the ongoing transition in the economy and business. The title of this year’s edition will be:
What the U.S. vote changes. Technology, sustainability, global competition and the role of Europe.
The year 2024 is a year in which the world geopolitical situation is at the center of public debate, both because of numerous elections on the calendar and ongoing conflicts . What are the impacts on the economy and businesses? The Festival, which will be held very few days after the elections in the United States and 5 months after the European elections, will try to answer these major questions, involving strategic production sectors such asautomotive, the labor market, public administration and the new areas introduced byartificial intelligence, through in-depth discussions between entrepreneurs, economists and representatives of institutions. The program will also focus on many other topical issues for the business world: technological and economic advances, and in particular artificial intelligence, digitization, ecological transition and information. During the three-day festival in Bergamo, these transformations will be discussed extensively, offering audiences interested in the development of businesses and territories food for thought to address the future of our country.

PANELS SCHEDULED IN BERGAMO. From Nov. 8 to 10, 2024, the program of talks with great guests in Bergamo will be complemented by a number of thematic sections featuring experts and insiders. Participants in the Enterprise City Festival will be able to choose which conferences to attend that will address topics such as:

- Reorganizing global supply chains
GUIDED TOURS. Students selected for Option 1 (Guided Tours + Festival) will have the opportunity to participate in guided tours of selected companies that are true case studies of product or process innovation. The guided tours will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, November 7, and the morning of Friday, November 8, 2024. Below we are pleased to provide you with the list of companies selected for this edition of the Academy Project:

Benefits for selected students
Over the past eleven years, more than 13,000 selected participants – bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and ITS students – have participated in the Academy Project. Through our activities, we offer participants a unique opportunity to meet and exchange views with renowned professionals and experts in the field, participate in training activities, and join an international network of peers studying in the same subject area or sharing the same interests.
The Festival City Enterprise Academy makes available a total of 200 residence grants that include:
- preferential access and reserved seats at the event events, with the possibility of direct dialogue with the speakers at the end of the meetings;
- company tours (for those participating in Academy Option 1);
- accommodation in multiple rooms (triple/quadruple) in affiliated facilities for the entire duration of the stay, which varies depending on the option chosen by the student (option 1 – nights of Thursday, Nov. 7, Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9) (option 2 – nights of Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9) with the possibility of requesting, upon payment of a supplement, any extra nights;
- Fixed-menu lunches and dinners in facilities that will be indicated by the organization;
- Transfers from hotel facilities to Festival venues (where necessary) and to selected companies during the tour itinerary (option 1);
The living scholarships cover 50 percent of the organization costs. To confirm their participation in the event, students selected for the living scholarship are required to pay a different participation fee depending on the option chosen: – option 1 | company guided tours + participation in the Enterprise City Festival (4 days / 3 nights): 340.00 euros
– option 2 | participation in the Enterprise City Festival (3 days / 2 nights): 240.00 euros
120 EURO BOOK VOUCHER
All students who confirm participation in the Academy will have a voucher worth 120 euros (from 60 euros for the “meals only” option) to request books freely chosen on the basis of their interests from an extensive list of titles both related to business culture topics and general topics useful for the participants’ specialized training.
How to apply for residence
To apply for the fellowships, simply fill out the form available by clicking here and specify the type of fellowship you intend to apply for (option 1 or 2). The deadline to submit your application is Sunday, November 3 , 2024. The selected students are expected to follow the program of events that will be defined by the organization of Festival Città Impresa and to actively take part in the activities planned during the three-day event. Applications will be selected and approved until all available places are filled. The selection of applications will be made at the sole discretion of the organizational management of the event. Our staff will provide the selected students with all information regarding board, lodging and the schedule of appointments, and will communicate how to make the payment of the participation fee.
